Submissions have now closed but there's more to do.

Visit TAKE MORE ACTION.

You don't have to be an expert to make a submission.
If you care, you can.

The most important thing is that you do it. So don't worry or over complicate it.

Already know what you want to say?

You can go straight to Parliament's submission website now.

Need some help?

Personal submissions are always the most impactful, which is why many groups have made templates you can quickly and meaningfully personalise.

If you want to make an even stronger submission, make sure you say you'd like to speak to your submission (if you can). This can be done via Zoom if you're outside Wellington. MPs seeing you and hearing you has the strongest effect.

350.org, Climate Club and Coal Action Network have made a google doc you can personalise. We recommend this as an easy and impactful way in for those of use who may not have made a submission before or who are short on time (as many of us are).

Kiwi's Against Seabed Mining has also made a template. This is good for people who have a particular interest in marine issues.

Environmental Defense Society have also made a template you can personalise. This is a more formal style with for the people who want to get stuck into the detail.

Greenpeace and Forest & Bird have both made form submissions you can fill in. This is useful if you have very little time and need to get something

in quickly.

More inspo from Students for Climate Solutions, who have made an amazing slide deck with useful info and background as well as guidance on your submission.
