Stop the destruction, Stop the abuse of power,
STOP the FAST-TRACK BILL .
This site has been set up to support action to stop the Government's proposed Fast-Track Approvals Bill.
The Fast-Track Approvals Bill is a law proposed by the Coalition Government to give extreme power to
3 Ministers to approve any major project, almost any where in the country, even on conservation land.
If passed, the law would allow Ministers Shane Jones, Chris Bishop and Simeon Brown to ram mining, dams, large roads through any community or any region without public consultation. It would give them the power to override environmental law, councils, communities and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
The Bill threatens Aotearoa's democracy and environment. Help us stop it.
